The CDMS Topics I Keep Coming Back To

I thought my CDMS prep was going well until I started working through more practice questions. That’s when I realized I felt comfortable with case management, but return-to-work planning and disability prevention weren’t sticking as well as I expected.

I’ve started studying in 45-minute blocks after work. I spend the first 25 minutes reviewing one weak topic and the next 20 minutes answering related questions. I keep a separate list of the questions I miss, then review those mistakes for a few minutes the following evening before moving on to a new topic. I’ve also been using CDMS Practice Test Questions to check whether I’m actually improving in the areas I’ve reviewed.

For those who have taken the CDMS exam, what specific study routine helped you improve the most in your weakest topic? Daily review, practice questions, flashcards, or something else?
