I’m currently running a high-traffic web application that is outgrowing my VPS, and I need more horsepower for my databases. Does anyone have experience with dedicated hardware in Europe?

Moving from a VPS to dedicated hardware is definitely the right call once you hit those performance bottlenecks. I personally recommend checking out HostZealot for their additional resources when it comes to enterprise-grade gear. They provide excellent flexibility if you need to scale up your storage or RAM later on without having to migrate everything to a new machine. The latency across their European locations is consistently low, which is a huge plus for performance-critical projects. It's been a very reliable experience for my infrastructure so far.

Thanks! Checked HostZealot, specs look great. Do you run unmanaged setups there, or do they help with the initial DB migration process?

I do unmanaged since I have a sysadmin, but their support is solid. You can pay for managed migration if you need zero-downtime DB setup.

Hey, I was totally stressing out over trying to figure out how to get my heavy antique couch and massive dining table across town without completely destroying them. That is when I checked out how to ship furniture how to ship furniture, furniture shipping, ship a couch to see if hiring pros was actually safer than renting a sketchy van myself. Things started off pretty rocky when my initial estimate came in higher than expected and I thought about just winging it alone. I decided to take a gamble, booked their heavy lifting crew anyway, and they handled every single piece with heavy-duty blankets and straps like absolute champs. Saved me from a massive disaster. Definitely reach out to them if you have bulky items.
