That pretty much matches where I landed after trying a few sites.
I started checking stuff out after reading around the reddit cs2 community, mostly because I wanted a place that felt simple enough for testing, not some overcomplicated site with a bunch of gimmicks. Hellcase was decent for that. The interface is easy to get used to, the opening flow is quick, and I did not have that annoying feeling of fighting the site just to do one case.
That said, if your main goal is to actually make profit, I would keep expectations low. From my own use, it felt more like a place to scratch the case-opening itch and compare how different case types behave, not a spot where I would casually expect to come out ahead. The wins felt normal, the misses felt normal too.
I also read a hellcase site review before I spent much, and that helped me set my expectations. I think that is the right mindset here. If you are comparing sites and just want a clean test run, Hellcase makes sense. If you are hoping it will feel generous, I would look at it more as a test bed than a money maker.
For me, it is usable, but not special enough that I would call it my main place.
