3.3 WHAT IS INTERNET?

Internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks. It is also called a network of networks that consists of millions of networks. Internet uses telephone lines, cables, satellites and wireless connections to connect computers and other connecting devices to the World Wide Web. Internet can be used to access a huge 'library' of information from the millions of websites, send and receive email messages, buy/sale goods and services, online banking, play games with other people online and etc.
