• Uniform Resource Locators (URL) - URLs are the web browser addresses of internet pages and files. With a URL, you can locate and bookmark specific pages and files for your web browser. The format of a URL resembles this- http://www.examplewebsite.com/mypage
• Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP), is the data communication standard of web pages. When a web page has this prefix, the links, text, and pictures should work properly in your web browser. Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) indicates that the webpage has a special layer of encryption added to hide your personal information and passwords from others.
• IP address- Your computer and every device that connects to the internet uses an Internet Protocol (IP) address for unique identification. An IP address (IP Version 4) can look something like- 202.3.104.55
• Electronic Governance (E-Governance) is the application of information and communication technology (ICT) for delivering government services to the citizens. It is the integration of various government services between governments to citizen (G2C), government to business (G2B), government to government (G2G), government to employees (G2E).
